i like how the rust is so noticeable and i really liked the house, i wish i had blurred the house just a bit more to add more of a separation between the fence and it.
i was in my art class and one of my class mates sat next to me on the floor i noticed her tattoo and snuck 3 pictures (all looked like crap) so i asked her if i could take a picture and it turned out. i wanted the other shoe to be visible yet blurry. i had to get really low to the ground to get the view i wanted and i think it turned out perfectly. this picture would have made a really good visual weight too, because of the word imagine .
this is my dynamic tension, i was with my best friend Cherie (she works at this ranch) and i looked up and i loved it. so i have a shot that brings your eyes all over the place around the frame through it to little distractions (light bulbs) i find it very intriguing.
this is my image for contrast. my sister inspired this shot, she collects rocks and this is one of her favorites the lake superior aget. the contrast in it is “beauty and ugly”. The beauty of the crystels inside the rocks ugly exterior, the mirror was so the viewers would be able to see both sides of the rock.
This is my visual weight. i wanted to find something that most people can relate to in some way. And yet have it pop out and catch your attention. I think this picture does just that, the blue of the mail box stands out but doesn’t take away from the image.
Gestalt: this is my picture for Gestalt, and this is my baby!!(my car) i went driving in the country side and wanted to get a reflection shot and this is exactly what i wanted. you can see the car but you can also see the beautiful sunset in the distance!
this was taken at a Gay pride stand, its my balance image. What were the odds i would be wearing blue shoes and this were to happen… very high i always wear these shoes, i choses it for balance because i split the frame in half and then composed the image so my two blue shoes would be on the other side of the ever so colorful table cloth.
my personal favorite, a close up on the ice and the lamp. the texture left behind is beautiful i had to go back this past weekend to get this shot (fed 6th-8th) i love how the lamp still lights up like this. i also have a shot in black and white but i like this one better. i may use this in one of my next assignments but i am working on something else for texture.
