this is the triad complimentary color, the red yellow, and blue, these lights are in my basement . the lights reflections blend together and sorta create the rest of the colors.
this is my color harmony, i choose it for that simply because the colors in it word in that way i feel. the blue and brown work very well together the blend in a way and at the same time they.
this is my first Color Expression, i added more of the line quality to this image, this girl was wearing all purple and on such a gloomy day. i honestly wish i had gotten a different angle maybe so we could see more of the motion of her legs but she had a class to rush to and i had work so i failed to get the greater of the shots. i feel like the purple catches your eyes first and as you slide down her leg to her shoes you get caught in the curb and move to the rest of the frame.
i used this as one of my Color Expressions because it shows green in a new light! HAW cause its a light… well anywho… the light itself had a texture to it and when the light from the bulb reflected on to the wall the texture and pattern stayed, i felt it creates more of a visual interest.
when i saw this i thought this is my muted shot. the reflection was caused by a mirror in my sisters room. i tilted my camera so i could get the diagonal in the shot.
my color accent, i wanted the lady bug to stand out so the green plants helped out. i choose to place the lady bug in the upper right hand corner of this shot, so that your eyes would fallow down the plant and off through the leaves.
this is my Black and white picture. i like how the lips pop a bit (i should have used darker lipstick). this was also an excuse to play with my mom’s makeup. i had setup two lights on my guitar t get the effect that i wanted, to make the lighter, lighter and the darker, darker.
